WMV HD's & 360 File Size Limit

I was wondering if the file size limit for .mp4 files (I think it's around 4gb) applies to .wmv files?

If so what type are the movies available on Live?

The 4Gb file size limit is not due to the video format, but is a limitation on FAT32 formatted Hard Drives.

This wouldn't be a problem with an NTSC formatted Hard Drive, but the Xbox 360 cannot access these.

The other option is to format the Hard Dirve in HFS+; this would avoid the 4Gb limit of FAT32 and is acessible by the Xbox 360.

I usually stream wmv files of 8gb over my network to my 360 and have no probs.

NTSC formatting is only an issue for Hard Drives connected directly to the Xbox 360 console via USB.
