Does anyone know how WMA playback works on the Pioneer DVD recorders ? Is it as simple as putting WMA files from a PC onto a RW disc and playing it in the recorder ? What is the quality like ?

What about MPEG files recorded on a PC from WIN TV ?

I am new to this - sorry.

Does anyone know if any other makes offer the same feature ?

    Cheers and thanks in advance,

    Chris.

Right . Same with MP 3 files.
The quality of sound ? Pretty good. No surprises.

    Sorry, don't know.

Personally I do recommend Pio .

Someone at work bought a DIVX DVD player that could play MPG files from a disc - a useful feature if you don't want to author DVDs. But I can't remember what make it was...
