    Speakers: Dali Zensor 1
    Sub woofer: Wharfedale Diamond SW150
    Amplifier: Yamaha A-S300

According to page 5 of the manual (option B) to connect these I can run speaker wire from the amps output into the speakers input, and then run additional wire from the speaker input point over to the subs input.

My questions is what do I actually do on the back of the speaker to connect the additional wire to go to the sub? Twists the ends of the two wires together and push that into the speaker input post?

Is that common practice for connecting two wires to one point?

    Many thanks.

The Yamaha A-S300 actually has a sub pre out and your Wharfedale Diamond SW150 is an active sub that can be connected to your amp via a single RCA terminated coax cable going to its left low level input, thus eliminating the need to connect it to your speaker terminals.
