    Any one know of any developments in the pipeline for wireless rear speakers???

    I notice a sony home cinema kit now comes with them as standard.

    well judging by how most people consider wireless headphones to be infinitely inferior to their wired comparisons then i doubt many people on here will seriously consider them as a 5.1 solution, especially with the advancements made in flat speaker wire etc.

    I doubt you'll see them in anything except lifestyle systems for a loooong time imo as they are very convenient and obviously it looks better not having wire everywhere :D.

    But how do wireless speakers get their power? Batteries? Surely the hassle of having to replace the batteries outways not having to worry about a few wires?
