Wireless trouble

    ASAP guys just helping younger brother set his 360 up downstairs with wireless adaptor it can pick up my network ok from list and I enter WEP ok but it keeps failing at IP address section. . strange thing is from my router control panel it has been assigned a IP address!

    What is the make/model of router, seems weird that is been assigned one tho?!?!?

    its strange I turned off WEP and now he is connected and playing away. I know the code for WEP i used is right cause my laptop and brothers pc are connected wirelessly using that same code.

    any idea why he couldn't get an IP address when WEP was turned on.

    Not really no, its usually down to an incorrect WEP key.
