I've done a few searches on this and as yet havent come up trumps with a solution.

I have a wireless network at home and wish to add my wifes Applemac powerbook to the network.

The powerbook is a 400mhz Powerpc G3, running Mac OS X ver 10.3.9

I have a spare netgear PCMICIA 511GT card and wish to patch it in to work with the powerbook to route at ~108mps (or there abouts) via the netgear DG834GT router/modem

Can anyone point me in the right direction for a patch?

Sadly, I dont think that's going to work. No Netgear OSX drivers, and the Wallstreet (I'm assuming it's a Wallstreet since that's the only PBG3 that will run OSX as far as I know) only has a 16-bit PCMCIA channel, so it wont support anywhere near 108Mbps 'cos there's not enough bandwidth (~8Mbps is likely the best you'll manage).

Some pointers here for getting WiFi on older PBs .... I reckon ebay is probably your best bet for an old Orinoco based card.

    Cheers, Carl.

Or is it a Lombard ? Anyway, lots of help over at MacInTouch for this kind of thing (painful site to use, but it contains a wealth of information - if it can be done, it'll be in the readers reports somewhere !

    Cheers, Carl.
