Wireless Monitor (DSLR camera to SD TV)

I'm trying to use an old Casio portable TV as a wireless monitor for my Canon 600D, using the USB AV output on the camera.

The set up I'm using now is as follows:

Canon 600D > RF Modulator > TV Aerial.

This system works, but is quite cumbersome and the signal is also very weak.

Is there a better, preferably cheap, solution to this? Would a USB aerial work as a transmitter?

Thanks

It's an interestng idea, but doesn't picture quality suffer, if say you are checking focus?

I believe there are pro-solutions like you describe, but costly with alternative channels, so there can be several on-set. How do you control the camera?

Or, is this a surveilance arrangement, perhaps?
