Not sure where this should go here seems like the best place.

I am looking for a unit to hook up to my TV like this I want to be able to locate all my media on my PC and then be able to have a couple of these units around my house.

I'd like to have a look at some others (if there is any) before I get this. I have a few questions about this aswell.

If I were t get two of these units could I use them at the same time?
My Videos are ripped DVDs in folders like Forrest Gump>VIDEO_TS with *.vob, *,ifo, *.bup files in them will these play on this unit?

I'd really be interested to hear any comments on this.

    Thanks

I use DVD Decrypter to create ISO images of my DVDs and then use Virtual CD to treat these as if they were just another DVD drive on the PC.

Don't know if any of this can work from any of these extender boxes, but it works fine from a PC over a wireless (802.11g) network as long as you've got a good signal (and my son isn't playing games over the internet at the time!)

I just did a soft mod on my xbox to use it to play files from my pc - didn't have to install a chip. When its modded just install XBMC and network it with the pc.
