    Hi
Ive recently bought a Microsoft wireless comfort keyboard and mouse v3 which both seem to work great just browsing net and chatting etc: BUT when im playing Fps games such as hl2 or doom3 and you need to hold down a key to go forward it seems to stop after about 5 seconds so you have to repeatedly keep pressing the key every 4 seconds to keep going
Anyone any ideas how to get keys to continue working after 5 seconds rather stopping ?

Sounds like a keyboard buffer overflow, try update to drivers if you haven't done so yet.

If it is a keyboard buffer overflow problem.....you could also try this.

Go to "Control Panel". Go to "Keyboard", and set the repeat rate
to "Slow", and the repeat delay to "Long".

Hi, I initially had problems with my Microsoft wireless keyboard with games too. The problem was fixed by downloading the latest version of the Intellitype software from the Microsoft website. Why Microsoft don't include this on a CD with the keyboard itself I really don't know!
