I get my new Mac Mini soon - went for the 1.83Ghz with 1gig RAM. It'll be my first Mac!

I intend to use it as a HTPC solution - thanks for all the advice here in this forum which will come in handy I'm sure.

Can anyone recommend a combined keyboard/mouse solution that looks good and will work well in a "living room" environment? By this I mean having a reasonable range and being useable without a desk surface for basic navigation, surfing, email etc. I expect I'll use the Apple remote for general viewing.

Will cheapish PC USB wireless keyboards work OK on Apple? I note that many of them don't seem to quote Apple compatability.

I like the look of the Logitech Dinovo Edge which is expensive but looks great.

Is there anything else I should consider?

    Thanks in advance!

    Congratulations on your new machine!

The mac can handle any cheapie keyboard, as long as its USB

Logitech do a very nice white set, as long as you're right handed.

But for me its the apple wireless keyboard and mighty mouse.
(The mouse takes a bit of getting used to, and you do need to keep your hands clean, but IMHO its the best!)

    cheers

Thanks for the replies - I've went for the DiNovo!

Looks good, and has an integrated mouse pad.

It arrives later this week
