Being a home worker for nigh on 5 years, and its only now that the distance (lack of) is annoying me on my Plantronics UC5200 headset. I can just about make a brew, but if I deviate, my connection drops.
Testing with my Xbox Wireless Headset yields similar results.
This to me suggests both are perhaps Class 2 Bluetooth devices.
Do Class 1 devices exist? Would they fry my brain? What options do I have in getting a longer range from a wireless set of headphones that can hook up to a computer for Teams use?
I've looked at Poly W740 Dect combi's, would something like that be better?
In an ideal world, the ideal headset would be comfortable, twin ear, good for music and long range.
Should I look at 2.4ghz headsets perhaps?
