Are there any headphones that allow you to be able to hear live chat and game audio at the same time effectivley?

I went for the Turtle Beach Ear Force X2 ahead of the Sharkoons, but I don't find the Turtle Beach ones work very well, unless I am missing something. I find it hard to hear when I am chatting and also the people on the other end, say I sound sort of muffled and am also very faint, this is far different from what I read in the reviews.

Does anyone have any of the above mentioned products or can suggest another brand that is working ok with game/live audio?

    Cheers

i have the sharkoon, i lowet the sound of the game from the game option and max the live sound, i can hear them clearly and they can hear me clearly. tried it with 2 games on live, TDU and PES6. TDU is much clearer i dont know why but still i am able to hear others on PES6 and they can hear me clearly too. plus the sound is amazing.

Does anyone else have any views on this?

MMalik81, have you tried them with Fifa07?

With any third party phones you'll necessarily have the chat audio coming through the speakers ie with the game audio.

On default settings it'll be hard to hear the chatter.

The fix is to lower the game volume (individually, in every game) and up the chat volume.

I should be taking delivery of the Sharkoons today, so I'll let you know how I get on.
