Question wireless hdmi with tx/rx dongles, no software

Hello,

I am looking for a device that can transmit hdmi signal wirelessly from a laptop to a projector. It will be used in office environment by many people with personal laptops so it must not be a software solution like the chromecast device.

Ideally it should comprise of a transmitter dongle that plugs in the laptop and a receiver one that goes in the projector. Several ones i've found had remote controls, bulky receiver modules, etc. - we don't want this, as the thing might as well go on the road for remote presentations.

It should use its own wifi and not be reliant on already existing one. Also the laptop should see it as just a cable, thus not additional software must be required to operate it - we can't make everyone to sit through a software installations.

Wireless HDMI is a flop purely from a functional point of view.
There were contenders at one time, but they all proved unstable and unreliable.

You can buy units at the moment via amazon etc. But they are tech sell offs from the failed attempts at ratification.
These are not cheap, and may be suitable for the home av hobbyist who doesnt care so much about quality and having to re boot all the time, but they certainly wouldnt suit a business environment.

There are no viable wireless HDMI solutions certified by HDMI.org.

Might be more stable looking at the marmitek hdtv anywhere option. Not a dongle but works like homeplugs
