wireless CATV coaxial extension

Hi,
I need to extend my coaxial CATV signal wirelessly from my basement to the second floor.

Has anyone tried AuraGrid Wireless Extension System before?

is there any better wireless transmitters.
I don't need an AV sender/receiver as I need to transmit the cable signal itself.

You cannot transmit every cable signal from a remote cable box. You would need a device that retransmits every channel frequency. That would be both extremely expensive and illegal in most countries. The device you are looking at is a basic wireless transmitter for computers and in any case is from an advert several years old. As this is basically a Uk forum and as you are in Canada you might get better advice on a US Forum. Cable tv is limited to one system here and any attempts at re-transmitting material would be illegal.
