    Is it possible?

I'm after a speaker / amp set up which offers wireless rear speakers.

The only problem with living in rented houses is landlords can get a bit shirty when you rip up floorboards and drill holes for cable runs :(

Think I have seen some setups that allow you to do this (think some TVs came with the speakers IIRC) but they do need to be connected to the mains.

However I think the general opinion is that they are really poor quality.

each speaker thats 'wireless' still needs to be plugged in to the mains, so you need a mains socket near every single speaker.....not really wireless to be honest..lol

another option is pop to B&Q or Homebase, get some cheap plastic conduit, paint it a similar colour to your skirting board or wall etc, then just use a few small blobs of blutac to secure it (some comes with sticky backing but not sure if it would lift paint when pulling it away if you move..lol)........

also as mentioned unless you spend a fair bit, the sound quality from wireless speakers wont be amazing....
