    It snowed about 2 inches last night where I live and I woke up to a fantastic view from my attic window. See attached for details. Anyone else been taking some snow pictures? :D

    Thanks Mylo. Snow was great fun last night (made a snow man and had snow ball fights with my boy) but not so much fun this morning. It froze last night and was like sheet ice this morning. Went over to mother-in-law's house this morning which is in the same village we live in. Parked my car on their road, which is on a steep hill, with hand brake on. Got out of the car and started walking towards their house when I heard my car moving slightly down the hill on the ice :eek: :rolleyes: Luckily it stoped and I got back in, drove off and decided to not visit my mother in law after all!

    Thanks Sean, yes you have, but thanks again! Your shots of Manchester were excellent as well, especially your night ones.

    Anyone else got some recent snow shots??

    No snow down here in the tropical south east, but here's one I took the other day in Iceland.

    Until I saw your photo Tomson I was going to suggest that "Snow" would make a good title for the Dec photo comp as I thought I might win. Now I'm not so sure! :)

    It was cold and bloody expensive but the scenery was stunning.

    It wasn't particularly great for taking photos to be honest - as it was winter it was quite grey and gloomy most of the time (in between the bizzards!). That photo was the only time the sun came out - but I had to take the pic from a moving minibus directly into the sun. Hence the underexposed foreground. Still, 20 minutes later i was floating in the Blue Lagoon - the most tranquil place i've ever been. Would defo go again.

    ::edit::
