Surprised no one has mentioned this yet.

Easily the best footie game in existence.

    Absolutely not!

The only people who said the pad had problems were PS2 players who were use to the Dual Shock.

IMHO it is just as good as the Dual shock and the c-stick used for Manual Passing makes it more instinctive.

The Cube version is very good, its almost a carbon copy of the PS2 version and once you get use to the stick, it should be just as good.

The only the reason not to get it on the cube then the PS2 is us chipped PS2 owners can customize our versions with patches, for real strips, new music etc..

ONO there is a worry in the Jap Cube community as WE6FE only sold 7,000 copies inits first week, compared to 14,000 on the PS2 which was released 3 months ago and sold 500,000 in its first week, this does not go well for future cube versions.

GC version blows PS2 one away IMO.
Always been a massive fan of the WE games and the GC version is the definitive version to date. Smother play, improved animations over PS2 one and lightning quick loading.:)

I was a little dubious about the GC pad over the Dual Shock 2 but after just a few minutes play it's perfect.:)

    Typical fanboy cr*p.

Blow away suggest the PS2 say scores 80 and the cube say 91, thats complete cr*p fanboy they are almost identical.

I have played both and the animation difference isnt noticeable

    blow away my ar*e

I think he said it was his opinion, and he's entitled to it. It's nice to hear the absolute and correct mathematical definition for 'blown away' though. Cheers for clearing that up. :suicide:

    It's a nice thought.

    ROF etc etc :boring:

Heh, I think accusing one of the forums most unbiased members of being a fanboy is slightly harsh.

There is only one fanboy on this forum and I think we know who it is. Hell, I am the closest GC fanboy you get here :p

then his opinion is pure fanboy, I thank you.

They are almost identical, if you walked past a window with both of them on you wouldnt notice the difference unless you looked cvery close, and like what in the PS2 version of WE6FE takes longer then 5 seconds to load?

And he's wrong because the definitive version is the WE doit v1.0 PS2 version which has correct strips, squads and player names and english menu's as well as a custom M&M soundtrack:clap:

Infact yes yes WeDoit Winning Eleven Blows the Cube version away:laugh:

Its not full of fanboys. Steve runs a video game business so I can't see why he'd want to be a fanboy!

I've heard from a lot of places that say the GC version is better.

    Regards,
    Neil.

I would except peoples opinions that they believe the cube version is better, but the term "Blow Away" says to me its in a different class but it certainly isnt.

its almost exactly the same game, gfx included.

If I was a PS2 owner and I heard those words I would expect the CUbe verson to be Graphically stunning compared, more extras etc..

oops yet forgot about our little skirmish you still lickening yer wounds :p

hey there is a rumour konami may go complete multiformat, so an xbox version may be in the works.

alas it will probably only have better textures then the PS2 version and not fully exploit the xbox's power like most PS2 ports:confused:

    Lets stay on topic folks.

I doubt that there will be another GC WE11 game. THe sales of the current release in Japan have been pretty poor.

I know the japs usually lap this stuff up too.

I mean take last year in April the Japs bought WE6 by the bucket load, in september they bought WE6J-League by the bucketload too, in december same thing with WE6FE.

Why dont the cube owners want it, it crushes FIFA big time.

But you know they wont, look at virtually all xbox ports of PS2 games, they just take the PS2 version make the sound 5.1, and bump up the Texture quality most of the time.

PES2 gfx dont look as good as FIFA's photo realism, its in the animation PES2/WE6 standout, and I would bet money Konami wouldnt spend the extra dosh to overhaul the gfx that much for the xbox, why?

I dont know the full answer, but nobody else has, there isnt that much difference between the PS2 version of the Thing and xbox's but there should.

I think the GC has worked it's way into a niche and many owners will have a PS2 too.

If you had just forked out the cash for Uber Football Big Leaguer 24 on PS2, then the same game came out on GC with slightly better graphics, does it really justify the extra cash.

    Most probably not.

All in all I am not really too concerned as footie games are not one of my favourite genres. However, I am concerned of the title fanboy being bandied about, and people being rude to others about their opinion. Nice to see it got back on topic.

I start a thread about WE6: FE and it gets hijacked and dominated by some guy accusing another of being a fanboy.

EDIT: can you just be quiet next time.
