Windows XP Service Pack 3, Internet Explorer 7 or 8??

    As the title people, havent got these installed yet (dont ask why, lol)

    But going to upgrade the same thigns in the other PC in the house aswell (I just personally didnt like IE7 at 1st but now don't really mind it)

    So just wondering what you lot think i should install??

    Service pack does not contain IE 7 or IE8. IE8 is still RC1.

    Hi

    I use IE7 all the time and have no probs with it. Downloaded it from the Microsoft website.

    As pixelpixel says, IE8 has'nt been released yet.

    Yep i know, but you can still d/l the RC1 of IE8 (i probably won't though)

    Personally, I would use IE7 at this time.

    I experienced problems with a number of sites using IE8. There is an option to use a compatability view (and view the webpage like IE7) but this wasn't always successful.

    Go with IE7 till IE8 is tried, tested and patched to a reasonable standard - In my experience of previous IE releases, being at the front of the queue isn't always the best idea... ;)
