    Hi all,

I was just checking my monitor driver and found that it caters for 43, 60, 70, 72, 75, 85 and a few others, but not 50hz.

Being lazy, and not wanting to check each one or install powerstrip, can anyone tell me what XP monitor drivers include 50hz in it's list of capapble frequencies.

    Cheers.

    Gary.

    Hi Gary,

I was using powerstrip with a HS10 last night at 56hz usinhg the standard windows plug and play monitor driver in XP with a Radeon 9500, all I had to do was to uncheck the box that said "hide resolutions that this monitor cannot display".

    Worth a try?

    Thanks John,

unfortunaltely, for my particular driver, it just hides the 43hz refresh rate. When unticked, I don't get 50 or 56.

    I can get the 56hz available in 800 x 600, but not 1024 x 768.

This makes me wonder if any XP monitor profiles have 50hz in them.

Any other ideas, or is Powerstrip my only option?

    Cheers.

    Gary.

Powerstrip I reckon, bit of a learning curve to it but easy when you get the hang of it.
