Windows XP Disc

    I brough a new pc some 18 months ago which has all of the software loaded on, but i haven't any of the discs.

    Obviously I have the xp license, but is their anywhere that you can just buy the XP home disk?

    Presumably this is alot cheaper as most of the cost is in the licence!

    You PC manufacture should supply one to you if you demand it, for example if you wish to reformat hard disk and rebuild system.

    They may argue about it, but in the end they do -- I once had a nasty time getting an OS disc for a Sony Vaio laptop, but they caved in in the end and send me one.
