I have finally put together my new desktop media style PC but I am still running XP Pro, is it worth me changing to MCE. What are the differences/benefits of changing? Any help would be great and thanx in advance :D

MCE provides a great front end - I would definitely recommend using it for all your media needs :)

It's an expensive upgrade from xp pro though - about £80 for the OEM MCE software and £25 for the remote and receiver.

You get XP Pro + the MCE app, which is a remote controlled interface for watching and organising all your media files, you can also get a number of plug ins for it to do other stuff within that interface. Although if you come out of MCE you have the normal XP Pro desktop, and can use it exactly the same way as your existing machine.
