Hi
So my PC froze on me yesterday, caused either by installing crysis warhead or by upgrading my nvidia drivers (or by doing both at the same time)
on rebooting my windows 8 was corrupt and i couldnt repair it as it said my SSD was locked.
on top of that i couldnt find my windows 8 key so i reinstalled windows 7 and have now got my entire steam library installed.
typically i have now found my windows 8 key.
I know as a general rule, to remove bloat when installing it is good practice to blap and start from scratch, however, as this is effectively a clean install, just with all my games installed, do you think there would be much downside in simply installing over the top of windows 7?
cheers
