Does anybody know anything about this?

I keep getting pestered by pop ups anf an application keeps trying to load onto my PC. I've done a search and deleted anything named winfixer but it's happening again.

    How do I stop it?

I'm only connecting over tesco dial up and will be changing over to broadband soon. Will my wireless router firewall (Netgear) stop it?

Get hold of some AntiSpyware apps like the Microsoft one or Spybot Search and Destroy or Adaware. Run them and hopefully you should get a result :)

    Thanks Dave,

I did download the Microsoft one a few months back but it's expired now. Do I just download it again (from the microsoft site?) or do I need to pay somehow for a proper version?

I did email winfixer about it by the way but no response

just download the MS one again,
make sure it's set to check for updates, and make sure it's set to run constantly as well.. :)
