I have three users set up on Win XP.

If anyone is logged in for 30 mins with no activity then Win XP logs you out back to the main user menu...a bit of a pain if you are downloading stuff.

Is there anyway of stopping this log off?

It's tied to the screen saver. Right click an empty area of the Desktop or select Display in Control Panel. Click the screen saver tab & you can extend the screen saver time, select no screen saver, or uncheck the box that says "On resume, display welcome screen". It's the latter that requires you to log on again. You need to do this for each user.
