Yay, it doesn't involve Facebook!

Good luck to all who enter ;)

Indeed, no facebook and a slick and easy entry system. :smashin:

Got my eye on that telly, mines on its way out. Lasted a good 7 years of near-constant use!

"Panasonic 3 Metre HDMI lead worth £39" *Snerk*

All the Marketing Gumf makes it a bit hard to see what's on offer, here's the concise version:

Two Soundbars (Phillips, Yamaha)
1080p 3D Projector
48" 1080P 3D Smart TV
AV Receiver
Multiregion 3D Blu-ray Player
Media Streaming Client
Audio/Radio/Spotify streaming client
FreesatHD Receiver (and PVR if you connect external drive).
2x Universal 3d Glasses.
Wireless Speaker
Roku Streaming HDMI Stick.

Some decent kit in there, although with no less than five 'Smart TV' items you'll be up to your eyebrows in different ways to watch iPlayer. A pair of standard speakers would probably have been a better alternative to one of them, the three sets of speakers on offer are all specialised.

There is also a Linsar 28" telly prize in another competition we launched today.

Do you mean your telly or your eyes ? ;)

Personally, I don't mind winning whatever the prize is, it's all tech.
I have not won anything since winning a Sony Betamax video recorder courtesy of The Sun ( write a joke caption competition ) and a week later I won a Philips N1700 video recorder courtesy of Lyons individual fruit pies ( spot the ball competition , 78 entries ), That was back in the late 1970's.
Wow !!!! Video Recorders ??? and people moan about today's technology, they've never had it so good.

avforums you already have my E-mail address, so just drop us a line when you want my home address for the prize delivery. :lease::blush:

This is a great forum , I even got advice on a new boiler and radiators off of member liamthefirst the other day, :clap:the topic If anyone wants advice on gas/central heating/boilers. feel free to ask | Page 22 | AVForums came up after a Google search otherwise I would not have thought of looking on here for that.

Awesome sauce. Imagine winning all that gear. My AV life would be sorted for life hehe.

Just out of interest can you remember the joke?

After 36 years or so I'm afraid not. I do remember eating those 78 fruit pies though, it was only one spot the ball cross per box back. Even got to visit the Lyons factory along with the other 19 winners for a tour.

Had to re-read the post after I read this, I thought it was for individual competitions for each item lol.

I felt bad entering the competition as all I could really use out of it is the TV (Currently LE40*74, only 720. Murder for PC as you cant fit the screen right lol), Amp and the Blu-Ray (Dont have one yet)

On the + side if I am lucky to win what I dont require will prob recirculate on here.

Have been looking for a new TV and finding it hard to decide what to get, guess im waiting another couple of months lol.

Is it one winner for the lot, or a different winner for each component?

The latter would be better (fairer), in my opinion; why would one winner want 3 sound systems!

one winner gets the lot.

Larger worm on hook ;)

I rest my case :D

Maybe should have grouped them in 'sets': 1 display + 1 streaming device + 1 sound system + 1 this + 1 that, and have winner and runner up prizes.
