Will Yamaha DSP-AX750SE be powerful enough for my speakers...?

I'm hoping to buy a 7.1 Canton speaker package (via the forums special offer), and was wondering if the DSPAX750SE would be powerful enough. Could anyone advise me?

    The speakers I'm getting are:

    CD50 centre speaker (50-100 watts)
    2 x CD100 L+R satellites (70-120 watts)
    4 x CD10 surround satellites (45-80 watts)

The subwoofer is active, so presumably the sub is irrelevant?

I would imagine the 750 will easily have enough power for these.

Dont worry about the sub, as it is active.

Yep don't worry Grand Dizzy, I have the 750SE and it should have no problem running your cantons!

Hmmm... I thought I'd seen the 750SE advertised somewhere for £320, or £330, but now I can't find it anywhere under £370! Does anyone know a good offer anywhere?

I purchased one from Richer Sounds using their price match from Sound And Visions price of £313. This was only last Tuesday. As long as you can provide evidence of new, boxed and in stock they are willing to match any price even off the net stores.

    Regards

    Thanks guys!

Blu, what site did you use from Germany and how did you pay? I will use them myself if I know they're reputable.

Also, what's the difference between the RX and the AX?
