Question Will wireless keyboard/mouse combo work on smart TV?

This just arrived:

Black Friday

And I currently own this:

Canada Computers & Electronics | Keyboards, Mice, Drawing Tablet | Logitech (920-004536) MK270 Wireless Desktop Combo (Retail Box)

Didn't want to set it all up yet without asking this:

Never had a smart TV before. Am I correct in assuming that smart TVs come with some kind of internet browser? Where I can hook up the above mentioned wireless devices and basically google stuff?

Because the remote does not have letter keys on it, if I am going to be typing stuff into the TV, I want to use an actual keyboard connected wirelessly through USB. Like if I'm using the youtube app, how do I do searches for what I want to watch? A virtual keyboard pops up on the screen and I scroll with the directional pad on the remote and click on each letter? That would take ages.

Spent 15 minutes on phone and finally got through to Sharp. They said this TV does not have that capability. Does not have a browser.

I read somewhere that some Samsung TVs do have this capability and have browsers on the TV. Can anyone attest to this?

I may have to return this TV if it proves to be cumbersome while typing in searches in apps.

Thx.
