I have a Mitubishi projector which only accepts its component input through the 15 pin VGA input which doubles also as the PC input.

I wish to use the projector for DVD and PC use and don't want to go messing around with plugs every time so what I was planning to do is buy a component to VGA lead to go from the DVD to the PJ like this..

    And a splitter like this...

So I can keep both my DVD player and PC connected all the time.

The question is do you think I would lose more picure quality by using this splitter than I would gain from using the component connection? Should I just stick to the S-video for the DVD.
