Should be a simple enough question for you pro's out there!

Right, if I were to purchase a PW7 (with Scart Terminal Board) and a Quintro RGB Scart Switch box, would I be able to attach the following without any trouble?

Sky+ (via Scart to the RGB Switch)
    PS2 (as above)
DVD Player (Using Scart connection again)
PC (Using the DVi input that is already on the PW7 (My GFX card does have a DVi output before you ask!))

Quite alot of wiring to hide away, but I'm sure I'll manage it!

    So, will it work?

The PW7 has a VGA connection as standard not a DVI, you need another board for that

Not really sure that I need to connect my PC to it anyway.

Got a perfectly good LCD monitor anyway!

But other than the PC, the rest will connect to the Quintro and all be fed into the Panny's scart terminal board without any fuss?

That's the main thing for me.

Hmm, now I think about it, my Gfx card and LCD monitor both have DVi connectivity aswell as the usual 15-pin out.

So say I were to use the DVi for my current LCD monitor, the Panny would accept the normal 15-pin connection? And I could switch between them at will...

    Am I right?

Don't see a problem with that. Only comment I would make is that personally I don't rate the Quintro. I had one when first released and had to return it due to a fault. I wasn't impressed with the build quality or the look of the unit. Quite cheap and nasty I thought... I finally bought a Keene Scart Commander which although more expensive I think it's worth every penny and beisdes it can be hidden out of sight.

add to that the panny scart board is the weakest link a js 'rgb>vga works better if you have all RGB sources (sky DVD and PS2 are with correct cable) and get another VGA/DVi input for PC usage

In short, get a DVI board and a JS RGB toVGA box, and a decent scart switcher and proceed with plan A. BTW an hour is not long to wait oer a christmas holoday. Impatient young puppy.

If your DVD has 2 scarts you could daisy chain the lot into a single scart. Could also get a £15 scart sharer/switcher from Currys/HBase. Depends how much you wanna spend as always. Top PQ soln is prob a quintro into JS box into VGA port and worst PQ is prob daisy chain them all into Panny scart socket. But from 10 foot away how much difference you see may not be worth the extra couple hundred quid you pay.

    Thanks for the input guys.

I think I'll follow MAW's advice and get the DVi board, a JS RGB-VGA converter, and a Scart switcher.

Like I said, thanks for the help!
