" With room for up to 3000 songs on the integrated 4-gigabyte hard disk,"
i would say no, the ipod is 20gb. plus this thing isnt a dedicated music player so i doubt the quality will be as good as a proper player.
Then you will get the problem of very poor battery life for your mobile if you are using it for loads of photos and listening to music all the time. I always like to get something to do one job - ie digital camera for photos, mobile phone for phne calls and an MP3 player for music
Battery life and also sound quality. In that case won't know till it comes out!
Eventually, I think things like this will, just like standalone organisers in recent times, get integrated with the phone. It's just that phones tend to get dropped more than music players and I don't think a current generation mini hard disk will withstand that. Lowered flash memory costs or ultra-tough HDD's will make a small phone/organiser/high capacity music player much more viable.
Exactly. 10 years ago mobiles were bricks. Now u can get one with 4gb memory!
