    HI

I am just about to get a new Sony 6.1 Dolby Digital AMP.

AM just wondering what channels are in DD and will any more go to DD like BBC 1 and 2 and Channel 4?

I very much doubt any of the mainstream channels will go DD for a long while.
Even the BBC HD channel seem to be struggling to do DD with live sport :thumbsdow

Sky Movies are sometimes DD on Sky, but rarely on cable.
BBC HD is DD for the preview.
There maybe more, but I can't think of them.

    Pretty poor, really :(

When you consider the percentage of SKY hardware users who do have the ability to access a DD soundtrack and the added bandwidth it would add to a SD channel (most of which are not upto the job PQ wise in the first place) it's no surprise DD5.1 hasn't made much of an impact.
