    Hi Guys
I have a Denon A11 dvd player and I know that it would not work with the Sanyo Z2 via the DVI /HDMI. I have looked into any problems with the Z3 and the A11 I cant find any body saying they have both this projector and the A11. The Z3 is getting cheaper all the time the bulb went on my old PJ costs £300 for a new bulb so I think best to go for the Z3 just want to make sure the A11's DVI output will talk to the HDMI input on the Z3.
Any body got these to or know if they will work?
    Many thanks

You're much better off using DVI from the A11.
I also used to have a Z2 and A11 and you're correct, they did not work with DVI connection.
    I don't know if a Z3 will work.
Have you tried looking on www.avsforum.com
Note: It is a US forum where the Denon A11 is the same as the Denon 5900.

Looking into it I think it will work if you read teh below
    From denon
Please note that the DVI-D (HDCP) video output on the DVD-5900 carries the High-Bandwidth Digital Copy Protection (HDCP) protocol and will only provide high quality digital video to displays that support HDCP. Please verify with your Owners Manual, Manufacturer and/or dealer of your display, that it supports the HDCP protocol. Also when purchasing a DVI interface cable, be sure it is DVI-D (not -I, or -A) compatible.

    The 5900 being the A11

    This from Sanyo
    HDMI input
    (DVI-compatible, HDCP-enabled)
    The future-oriented High Definition
    Multimedia Interface (HDMI) handles all
digital formats at an extremely high
    transmission rate, without compressing
data and without loss of quality. And
since all image and sound data is transmitted
in one cable, the usual jumble of
cables is finally a thing of the past. With
HDMI, the PLV-Z3 is already prepared for
the new copy protection standard, HDCP
    (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection),
    and is DVI-compatible.

So will accept DVI and HDCP as per the A11 just have to get a DVI-D to HDMI cable sorted!
