Will the WinTV-HD display the Eoro1080 broadcasts ?

    That's from your link.

    Euro 1080 is broadcast via satellite so a DVB card is needed. The Skystar 2 will work & is reasonably inexpensive.

    HDTV is viewable on a PC monitor but few monitors can resolve 1920x1080 so you'll be watching a scaled down picture.

    Still pretty impressive though, even on a 1280x1024 res monitor.

    Yeah I did'nt scroll down the page did I ?! Ok only a 15" TFT here

    Thanks for info. A few skystar 2's on ebay at £50 I notice but are you certain you can get error free reception of Euro1080 on this card ?
