Will the DVI board take up the slot used by the component board?

Hi, I've been away for a while, I put the whole plasma purchase on hold for a month. I've contacted a dealer now who's going to get back to me with pricing. I was deciding on boards and read somewhere that the panasonic DVI board takes up the same slot used by the component board?

So that you can use one or the other, but not both? I read this in a thread for another panasonic model (much older, series 4 or something). Or can you get both boards and use both at the same time, for component and DVI input? This has me worried, and in that case, DVI will be my priority.

The plasma is a TH-42PWD7.

I've got both in my PW7 (the PW4 only had one slot, the 7 has 3).

component board will fit in any of the three slot in the 42" 7series DVi only goes in slot 1 or 2 IIRC
