    Hi folks :)

Will my Pioneer VSX-808 RDS receiver handle B&W DM603 S3 speakers? I'm going to run the receiver in stereo mode, in which it outputs 100w x2 in 8ohm. I'm not exactly an expert in this field, and I do know my receiver meets the requirements B&W set... but what I'm wondering about is how well my receiver will be able to handle the speakers.. because if it isn't going to handle them very well, I'll be better of purchasing some speakers that requires less power

This is the B&W specification page for the DM603 S3 speakers:
    http://www.bwspeakers.com/index.cfm.../ObjectID/FE212946-C0D6-4DCF-89AF645E767EAB8F

And this is a page that contains some specs on my receiver:
    http://www.techtronics.com/uk/shop/612-pioneer-vsx-808rds-receiver.html

    Thanks in advance :)

There are no problems matching receiver and speakers at all.

But of course the B&W speakers are plenty good enough to be used with a much better amp if ever you bought one!

Thanks for the replies :) The money for the speakers just arrived on my account, so I guess I'll be ordering soon ;)

    Thanks again
