Will my Alphason stand take a 42 inch panasonc plasma ?

Recently i bought a 32 inch Panasonic LCD which i decided was too small for the room and at the same time i bought an equivelant stand from Alphason.

The stand is an Alphason AD3/67-LCD, the info from Alphason`s site says that the stand can accomodate upto 37 inch. The info also says that the top shelf will accomodate 97 kg as its 8mm plate glass.

The tv i am planning putting on this stand is a Panasonic TH42PZ70 which weighs 42 kg according to the panasonic site, all i can see is the tv will have a slight overhang at the edges which is no problem and the tv base will comfortably fit on the stand.

Is this ok to do as the weight of the tv falls comfortably into the max weight of what the top shelf can hold, its just with Alphason saying the stand can accomodate upto 37 inch which has thrown me a bit yet the top shelf can take double the weight of the tv that i am planning on putting on this stand.

Hi, I have the same stand in black glass and it had my 42" Tosh lcd sitting on it before I wall mounted it. The weight and size shouldn't be a problem.
