It`s probably been covered somewhere down the line, but if someone could set me straight I would appreciate their input. If my t.v. will accept an rgb signal, and my dvd player - skyworth - is outputting a progressive signal via the vga output - will this work, just curious as a letter in Widescreen review issue 50 along the same lines got me thinking. If not what are the requirements of a tv be it direct or rear projection as I am starting to look at getting a replacement and need to know some specs to enable me to do some scouting around.

Thanks for the quick reply Gordon,at least I know what the deal is now.

By the way which tv`s do you know of that have that ? I really want w/s rear projection,or a direct view with a screen size of 36" - any ideas ?

If you can live with the bad quality of PDP (plasma) then you could wait until Dec/Jan time when the new ranges of 32" PDP's are released.

Other-wise you could try looking for a data/PC garde monitor, would be expensive though, but miles better than any normal TV.
