I picked up a 1930 yesterday from Richer Sounds and although I only have a SD plasma, to my eyes, the difference is staggering  visuals are sharper and more defined and on the audio front the soundstage is more 3-dimensional.

With a HD screen via HDMI (i'm going via component) I would expect the same level of improvement. Go get one; you know you deserve it

I have a 1920 and it's leagues better than my old Sony via scart, how much better it is than a Tosh connected via component I could not say tho!
