Will I need to upgrade Receiver to use Epson 9400?

I've not upgraded anything in my cinema room for 10 years but I think the time has come to upgrade my Panasonic PT-AE4000 projector to an Epson 9400. I'm happy with my speakers but was wondering if I'll need to upgrade my current receiver Onkyo SR605 to something more current? I'm especially concerned as to whether the HDMI pass through is good enough on the Onkyo (HDMI 1.3) for the Epson 9400.
