    See my signature ;)

I did consider 46" but when I saw the price difference I thought what the hell.

If you dont bother with HD at all then maybe not. If you are going to be watching a lot of HD? go for it. :)

G15 is the next one to be released. Same PQ as the G10, but slimmer panel and has Viera Cast with DLNA access (only sizes 42 and 46 though)

For standard definition broadcast TV yes it's too close in my opinion and the picture will look poor that close, and only slightly better on a 46inch.

For HD though it should look fantastic, so if you watch more HD then Standard definition go for it.

this isnt gonna help ;) but I thought 46" too but when I saw the price difference I thought..."what the hell" and got the 50".

I suspect if you get the 46" you will always be thinking "should have got the 50"

Depends a lot on your viewing though. If you are watching a LOT of SD then maybe not but if you plan to be watching a lot of HD or videogames then get the 50"

I watch a fair bit of SD right now but Im not bothered about being a bit close. It seems OK to me anyway, apart from Setanta which is painful to watch (as usual though!)
