Will golf be shown on sky HD?

    My dad really wants to know... so an informed, sensible response would be great. could be the make or break for Sky HD, based on the previous poster's comments about it being £299 + £10-a-month subs.

    Can't say for sure.
    However with SKY having the OB facilities for HD then you would expect UK based coverage will take advantage of the new format.
    A lot of the US tour is covered in HD so then it's just a case of if SKY can secure the feed and you would think new HD content for timeslots other than UK daylight hours would be valuable.

    Wait and see I suspect is the best answer:)

    The Beeb are showing the footy and tennis in HD, fingers crossed they will show the Open in Hd. And hopefully sky will show Ryder cup in HD too.

    If so.......Cant wait
