Will asda sim work in vodafone locked handset?

I have got a asda sim card (great rates, cheap and nasty phone though) and asda use the vodafone network to provide their service.

Can I buy any locked vodafone mobile and put the asda sim in it or will thatl not work???

You should be able to, but I'm basing this on my past cheapy T-Mobile SIMs, eg Virginmobile and Fresh. These work in all the T-Mobile phones I've had given they all use the T-Mobile network.

I assume, as ASDA are using Vodaphone, the same thing should apply. But as ever, especially if you're forking out for an expensive phone, check first!
