hi could be a stupid question but was just wondering if you could use an old large style dish and just connect a digibox, as i still have one up on the wall and am currently using itv digital which is beginning to annoy me. also is the dish aligned differently for digital?

Your old dish will work but it will need realigning to 28.2 for Astra2 and Eurobird satellites which carry SKY D channels.

You will also need a Universal LNB, your old LNB probably won't be the correct type.

Too be honest if you are intending to subscribe to a SKY Digital package then take up the £1 installation deal, you'll get a new digibox, dish and installation. The first months sub is £37 but you can then downgrade to a lower priced package after that.
