My parents have an anologue box downstairs with the old dish that was out before the smaller dish replaced them.
My parents watch Italian tv but sometimes the picture is very poor.
I have just had sky+ installed so have the digibox free and was thinking if I replaced the anoulouge box downstairs witrh the digibox would it give them a better picture? Would they be able to go digital?

Not without applying to sky I think. IIRC it needs a different LNB and probably the new dish too. The viewing card is different as well.

Also you wont be able to view the Italian stuff.
