If in the future I buy an HD dvd player that outputs 1080p
will this video be viewable on my Pio 435?
I m not asking if the PQ will be better coz I don t think it will be.
but will the 1080p video be shown on this 720p display?

    Hi,

I'm not sure if the 435 will accept 1080p on the HDMI - probably not. Not to worry though, as HD DVD and Blu-ray players will be able to output 1080i or 720p for legacy displays. Hope this helps.
