I have bought it. Not been able to do anything with the codes yet as we dont have internet at home for a week. Not sure how work would feel about me wandering in with the Wii U to download games :)

This is relatively recent: I wonder if it's the beginnings of tying to accounts? If your Wii U is set to auto download, as soon as your net is up it should start installing.

You Sir are a STAR. I had forgotten they were doing that. Codes all redeemed. Now I just need a 3DS so I can play Street Fighter !!!!

I reckon you could smuggle your Wii U in to work with a power cable snaking into your bag to download over work wifi!
