    Hello,

Sometimes my Wii acts realy strange when it is in stand by mode.

The blue light in the 'disk tray' slowly lightens up then flashes twice, before it turns the light off again. This whole sequence (apr 5 seconds) repeats itself over nd over again.

Can someone tell mee what is wrong?

    THNX!

Thats Wii "connect 24". Have a look through your settings and disable it, its a pretty useless feature IMO, and that should solve your problem.

not sure what the policy on posting external links in this forum is, but if you google "wiki WiiConnect24" it will give you more info.

    hope this helps.

The flashing blue light is normal and only happens if you have Wii Connect 24 enabled. It indicates that you have a new message or update available. As already mentioned you can disable Wii Connect 24 in the Wii's settings. Judging by some other peoples experiences it's also possible having it enabled may mean there is more of a chance of having problems with the console. I would suggest disabling it.
