Question Wifi from network cable?

Can't get a decent wifi signal, but can run a wired cable to the room, but this is no good for iPads and phones ect what can I get that will turn the wired connection in to wifi?

You could try adapting & using an old router. Take a look at the sticky in this forum titled 'Using two routers together'. I would also suggest having a read at the sticky 'How to diagnose wireless issues'.

The device you want is called a WiFi Access Point - as rs6mra says, domestic WiFi routers have one built in and you can often configure them so they don't do any routing, but you can use them as a WiFi AP.

Otherwise searching for "WiFi Access Point" on Amazon will give a selection from around £25 upwards (depending on WiFi capabilities and other features).
