Hi all, was bored this afternoon so i stripped wifes old Dell E520 and cleaned it all up.....was very mucky
Anyway spec is
Intel D925 3.00Ghz 4 mb cache 800 mhz/fsb
Dell m/BTX board LGA775 with Intel 965 chipset
ATI Radeon X1300 Pro GPU
4 x 512Mb DDR2 533Mhz CL4 240pin
Dell 305w PSU
LG dvd sata r/w drive
Philips sata dvd rom drive
Teac internal usb multi card reader
Dell E520 case
1 x 120mm front fan ducted to copper/alloy cpu cooler, unknown origin.
Is any of this worth selling, or maybe upgrading system to sell?
Should i just bin the lot?
Any suggestions/ideas welcome (so long as they are polite) :D

I assume it runs okay? I would try to sell it as a complete system, don't bin it - somebody will take it off your hands.

It runs very well, just spec is rather dated........i was considering selling as is, or wether to upgrade it a bit to make it more appealing.......and keep me busy ;)
Thanks for your reply :smashin:

I'll bet it runs the net fine.
I used the same sort of spec until recently.

It has to be worth £50.

Or it would make a very nice xmas pressie for someone who hasn't got/can't afford a computer.

Not worth upgrading, imo.
It's just dead money.

Makes a great net browser, wife used it for f/book, various forums, youtube/catch-up tv etc no problems, running vista home basic. I put it's 160Gb HDD in wifes new build as she never uses much space, so i've got a spare 400Gb HDD to throw in it.
Thanks, i'll stick it on for sale board and see what interest it gets :smashin:

You can always give it to those less unfortunate, or even your local library may need it.
