Unfortunately she wouldn't dream of carrying that out. And when I mentioned it I was told to ..... In a very abrupt manor. But it's ok for him to basically take advantage of her good nature, or what I call naivaty.

well, that's good - as my lady's the same and I'd prefer she acted like a lady rather than some schemer etc... :)

She sounds like a lovely lady, an utterly brilliant wife and 'the perfect employee' too.

Her loyalty isn't being valued by her boss, though; only by you. Perhaps she should start to look around now for something a bit better paid? But there again, if the company is having a hard time, all that redundancy pay might be worth hanging around for?
